Startup Password

The Startup Password is one of our ACU-enabled Smart Security Features. This feature allows the rider to secure their e-bike by requiring a password to start.

Integrated Bike Lock

Smart security integrated. The ACU-enabled Integrated Bike Lock immobilizes your rear wheel or centermount kickstand to deter theft, keeping your E-bike safe and secure. Use alone for a quick stop or in tandem with another lock for peace of mind.

Keyless Battery

No more lost keys - the ACU enables you to remove your battery without the use of a key. The Keyless Battery lock is engaged through either the E-bike’s main display menu or the Aventon app.

Unusual Activity Detection

Unusual Activity Detection detects atypical motion around your E-bike, working in tandem with both the Alarm and Remote Notifications to alert you when you’re away from your E-bike.

GPS-Tracking

GPS tracking is a feature enabled by the ACU. These features allow you to track your E-bike through the Aventon app, giving you extra visibility if you need it.

Remote Geofencing

Working in tandem with the GPS, the Geofencing feature on the ACU bikes allows you to draw out exactly where you want your E-bike to be able to operate. Use the Aventon app to customize your Geofenced area!

4G Connection

The ACU features integrated IoT capabilities, allowing your E-bike to use 4G for tracking and remote notifications.

4G connection is subscription based, with the first year of service being free when you purchase an E-bike with ACU technology. Following the free year of service, after that you can extend the service for a fee. The subscription is not a necessity, however certain remote connectivity features are limited if you choose not to renew the subscription.

Lost Mode

GPS is run off the E-bike’s main battery, meaning that the last location reported is the last location where your E-bike was activated. However, Lost Mode enables remote GPS tracking by using the internal battery in the ACU, allowing you to track your E-bike after it’s powered off.

Over-The-Air Updates

Over-The-Air Updates allow us at Aventon to send firmware updates directly to your E-bike without needing our riders to go to a shop. These updates include features, such as Boost Mode, Sensor Switch, and Uphill Start Assist. Get the latest features without needing to get the latest E-bike.

Real Time Notifications

Enabled by our ACU and its integrated IoT service, Remote Notifications work in conjunction with Unusual Activity Detection to alert you when your E-bike senses something strange around it, giving you another layer of security and extra peace of mind.

E-Shift with AutoShift Capabilities

Shift with confidence and ease with the new E-Shift system. Ensuring a smooth and accurate shift every time, the E-Shifter utilizes an ergonomic wired pod-shifter that communicates directly with our EPuller mechanism as well as the ACU. AutoShift responds to your power, cadence, and speed - finding the ideal gear to match your terrain and pedaling, allowing you to focus more on the ride.
